Job Description

Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center (TBC) Technician at Sam’s Club, you’ll play a key role in providing exceptional member service, maintaining safety standards, and supporting operational excellence in the TBC area. You’ll work hands-on with products and equipment, assist members with their automotive needs, and collaborate with teammates to deliver efficient, high-quality service.

What You’ll Do

Be a Team Player
Collaborate with team members to fulfill service requests, mentor new associates, share knowledge of tools and resources, and build strong communication skills to ensure a safe and efficient member experience.

Be an Expert
Apply your knowledge of safety and compliance procedures, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, and TPMS systems. Demonstrate strong product expertise and effective sales techniques through in-person and digital interactions.

Be Tech-Savvy
Use digital tools and handheld systems to enhance the member experience, monitor service performance, and stay updated on safety alerts, new products, and training materials. Encourage teammates to embrace new technologies and tools.

Be Accountable
Support operations by managing cash transactions, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. Process returns, handle special orders, and report equipment or safety concerns promptly. Help members with purchases and resolve issues efficiently.

Be a Brand Ambassador
Deliver outstanding service while representing Sam’s Club values. Inspire teammates through collaboration, coaching, and teamwork. Contribute to a culture of respect, inclusion, and excellence.

Pay Range: $15.00 – $21.40 per hour
Additional premiums of $0.35 – $3.00/hour may apply based on schedule, season, or role requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Valid state-issued driver’s license

18 years of age or older

Preferred Experience

Retail or auto service industry experience

Prior customer service or sales experience
