Position Summary
Are you a natural leader who enjoys creating great customer experiences and guiding a team toward success? As a Front-End Lead at Sam’s Club, you’ll help oversee daily operations, support associates, and ensure members enjoy a seamless shopping experience from check-in to checkout. You’ll assist with scheduling, training, and coaching team members — while maintaining high standards for efficiency, service, and compliance.

What You’ll Do
Lead & Support Associates:
Assign daily tasks, communicate goals, provide training and feedback, and model exceptional member service. Support hiring, scheduling, performance evaluation, and team development.
Deliver Exceptional Member Service:
Greet members, identify their needs, assist with purchases, and promote Sam’s Club membership programs and renewals. Process upgrades and credit accounts while highlighting the value of Sam’s Club benefits.
Oversee Operations:
Manage claims, returns, and inventory in assigned areas. Maintain clean, organized, and member-ready zones — including sales floor and parking areas. Ensure proper handling of carts, equipment, and safety standards.
Manage Accounting Procedures:
Handle daily deposits, cash fund transfers, and financial reporting. Investigate discrepancies, protect confidential data, and maintain accuracy across all accounting records.
Foster a Culture of Safety & Compliance:
Uphold company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. Report and address safety concerns promptly and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Collaborate & Drive Results:
Partner with managers and peers to meet business goals, identify improvement opportunities, and support operational excellence. Encourage teamwork, adaptability, and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications
6 months of retail experience (including front-end operations such as cash register use)
6 months of customer service experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading or supervising a front-end retail team
Background in hiring, mentoring, and evaluating associates
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 (based on experience and location)
Premium Pay: $0.35 – $3.00 per hour may apply depending on schedule, season, or role responsibilities
