Is a leading manufacturer of trailers, specializing in commercial, industrial, and agricultural transportation solutions. Founded in 1986 by Keith Brown on his farm near Bateman, Saskatchewan, the company began as a small operation in a 1,500 sq. ft. converted barn. Its first product, a combine header transport, was initially built for personal use but quickly gained attention after being showcased at the Western Canada Farm Progress Show. This led to multiple orders and marked the beginning of Trailtech’s journey as a trailer manufacturer.

To meet growing customer demand, Trailtech expanded its product line to include swather transports and flat deck trailers. By focusing on marketing to agricultural implement dealers, the company secured repeat orders and established itself as a reliable provider of high-quality trailers.

In 1988, Trailtech moved from its farm location to a newly constructed 8,000 sq. ft. facility in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. Over the years, the company continued to grow, expanding its operations in 1994 and 1997, increasing its total facility size to 33,500 sq. ft. Through strategic acquisitions of two trailer manufacturers, Trailtech added combine transports and high-clearance sprayer transports to its product portfolio.

By January 2004, Trailtech’s plant had grown to over 58,000 sq. ft., featuring a three-part paint process and reserve capacity for future ventures. Today, the company employs over 80 people and is recognized as one of the largest manufacturers of commercial and light industrial flatdeck trailers in Western Canada.

Trailtech has been honored with two Abex awards: one in 1998 for Community Involvement and another in 2002 for Innovative Work Systems. The company was also among the first employers in Saskatchewan to implement an immigration plan to address labor shortages in the western provinces.
