Refuse Collector

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting waste containers from production areas to the disposal location. You will ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of waste containers. This role contributes to the overall cleanliness of our manufacturing facility.

What You’ll Do

Clean and sanitize modules, dumpsters, and waste containers by utilizing cleaning chemicals
Properly handle chemicals, use equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines
Work may include operating machinery and equipment such as powered pallet jack as necessary for the job
Communicate potential issues, concerns or risks with management to achieve a resolution

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with food safety in a manufacturing setting
Prior experience with PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment
